Outing to siu pak lo

Last Saturday, we went to tai po (SIU PAK LO) for outing. The weather was hot and sunny. Luckily there were air-conditioned room and indoor activities, otherwise it would be too hard for little Charisse.
Chloe was having fun with other kids and she enjoyed it much as her summer vocation activities.

媽媽的暑假

今年暑假媽媽沒有計劃外遊，為着免我精力太旺盛，就安排不同的活動。媽媽盡量不想被怪獸同化，但把我呆在家中定叫婆婆和妹妹吃不消，所以亦把活動安排得滿滿。
今年的活動旨在強化體能，訓練意志和建立習慣，當中並不強調知識的學習。等我解召一下，遲些妹妹你就知我幾厲害。
一星期四個早上8:00學游泳，由七月至九月沒間斷，早上起床是最難，到了泳池就不覺辛苦了，況且教練也很nice，所以我仍未可以放個頭入水。
一星期三個黄昏7:00 至9:00學網球，成班同學我最小(年紀加身高)，練體能跑步追着他們真辛苦，尤幸我樂天的情格和哥哥姊姊的配合，總算練得一雙粗壯的腿。我擊球的姿勢有板有眼，唯命中率偏低，笑死媽媽。
另有四個星期下午去灣仔art centre 上興趣班 (手工、故事、跳舞......)，每次兩小時，媽媽對我沒有要求，但亦察覺自己多了講英文，詞匯亦較豐富，媽媽話是bonus.
正當各人準備小一選校，準備面試題目，我則玩玩玩，媽媽都有D擔心，唯船到橋頭自然直。
這個暑假看似訓練我，其實亦是訓練媽媽，一早一晚的活動都堅持自己帶我去並等我，適當時又要配合鼓勵動作，心力和$力都花了不少，幸好我亦享受這些活動，身體亦捱得住，沒有遲到或缺課。
暑假還有兩個多星期，開始要收拾心情準備了。今年‧夏天，我變了一粒牛奶朱古力加上一雙有力的甲組脚。

A trip to kowloon city

10/5/2011, a sunny public holiday. It was good for outing. This time we headed further to Kowloon City, a place where mum was born and lived. Mum remembered that in the old days, grandma and her sis always walked around in the kowloon city. This reminded her the happy moments.


This time, we went with the Shek's family to the kowloon city park. We walked around the park and play bubbles, but it was so hot that we finally ended in the pizza hut (kowloon city shopping mall).

There is a rather new park near the Kwun Tong Harbour water side. As I am getting older, 4 of us have more chance to go out. This time we chose to walk from home to the park, it took about 20 minutes. We arrived there around 5:45pm. There was not many people so it was quite relaxing. Mum said next time she can bring a book and a cup of coffee.

Lovely Moments

Mum is still on maternal holiday but she can't wait to go out with us. We started with the closest (down to the park), then to Sai Kung which is exhausting for mum.

Sai Kung is a lovely place, it does give us some feeling like back to Australia. A cup of coffee, a piece of cake, walk around small shops and look around. Life is so relaxing, hope we can have more these lovely moments.

Charisse Chan 恩霖

Time flies, it has been a month since I was born. I am full moon la. I did gain weight , now around 3.3 kg which is ok according to the doctors. My face is growing round and round.

My name is finally chosen. It has been a struggle as dad don't want to use the same word as Chloe's chinese name so they have to think it all over. Every parents have their expectation on their kids and is usually reflected from the name they choose. There are different options.

They 2 finally choose Yan lam 恩霖. As during the pregnancy, there were different problems but with God's blessing, we did overcome them. So they want to choose the name for me as to remind them the greatest of God's blessing.
11/3/2011 was the biggest earthquake in Japan, and looking at the scene was alarming and heart broken. We need God's blessing and may God 's 恩blessing like a heavy rain to the world (especially Japan).

For my English name, mum choose Charisse as it means "cherry; grace; dear, beloved" Based on the research from the web,most people would imagine a person with the name Charisse to be: An angelic, caring and kind person. Mum really hope that I can be a"warm-hearted" person.

Our family

Mui Mui is now 20 days la. She is gaining weight and become more alert. She can play for a while but mostly still sleeping. The other thing is she start to cry more at night, hope she will be better as she grows.

Mummy has been busy taking Mui Mui to follow up with hospital and MCH last week, next week will be a break, as they will check Mui Mui again after a week to see how she grows. Things are going on well now, thank God.
